Supporting people with disability to improve their income through education, skill building and entrepreneurship is the main aim of Society for Child Development. Driven by the conviction that there is a way to create a world of equal opportunities for people with disabilities, SfCD was set-up as a non-profit organization in 1992. An extension of this is the flagship program Trash to Cash where flowers from places of worship are recycled into products such as Holi colours, rangoli and agarbattis. This helps generate income for the differently abled and at the same time contribute to environment protection.
